Just the beginning

I've blogged before & I've been hm....well I can't say unsuccessful because I really enjoyed it but this I've talked about & thought about for a while. A family blog....now I can't promise my husband or my two youngest kids will blog much.....not sure if they will ever blog although I think my youngest daughter would like to try it, I'd probably have to type for her, but I do know that my oldest daughter would love to blog. We actually talked about it tonight. So in the midst of not being able to sleep, fighting my husband for my side of the bed along with the covers, I figured I'd go ahead & start the blog & see how it goes. I can't promise you any set areas of blogging there is no telling what we will blog about but I'm hoping for some interesting posts & some different views with more than one of us blogging. So to start with I'm going to introduce our blog, then myself, then my daughter. Tomorrow I'll let her do the same, should be interesting to read the two of us describing each other & our other family members, huh?

For now we will not be using our real, government names on the blog, just for safety reasons (or paranoid mom reasons, LOL). We will blog about shopping, deals, clothes, fashion, make up, hair, crafts such as...sewing, knitting, making all sorts of things, budgeting, cooking, the bible, our relationships with God & others, school, daily life, all sorts of things. Hopefully there will be some structure.

As I said we will not be using our real names for now, so y'all will know me as Daisy. I am a stay at home wife & mother. I have three children & I've been married for almost 10 years. I love blogging, writing (typing more than writing sometimes), facebook, youtube, all kinds of crafts, couponing, playing monopoly & other games, cooking, music (music like 50 times), church, my friends....I really could go on & on!!!! My husband & I are almost the same age. My family is not really a low income family, at least I don't consider us low income (my mom does though) but we do live week to week. He is funny & strong. He's quiet but also loud...yes I know that's contradicting but it's true. My oldest daughter is smart, strong, sincere, caring & awesome (like her mother). She loves to write but has never blogged, no one in my family has ever blogged but me. She loves to read, draw, talk, do bible study with me, craft with me.....she loves fashion, doing hair....I think she would love to have a try at make-up but I've been putting that off as long as I can. She's a great daughter & big sister. My youngest daughter is funny, feisty, opinionated, determined, strong, caring, quick tempered & every one's friend. She loves to draw, play outside, pretend, write plays, act, craft with me & sing. Poor thing is the middle child so she battles for her spot as the baby & the boss. My youngest is my son. He's all boy!!! Playing cars, trucks, army, war, basketball, football, baseball, shooting guns, running, going, going, going all the time....I don't know where he gets all his energy from. He's the baby & is spoiled. He is very protective of me & his sisters. He's outspoken, determined, hard headed, loving, a loyal friend. He loves to be active.

As I sit here thinking about this blog, I'm really excited. I'm going to go ahead & start our first post together but won't post it until after my oldest does her introduction & finding out if the rest of my little family is interested, if not then this will be a mother/daughter thing, which will also be just fine.

I really hope y'all enjoy our blog as much as I know we are.
~Daisy
